Join us for our monthly Women In Business Luncheon and hear our special guest Philip Aleo.

Philip A. Aleo was born in Chicago, Illinois, and has resided in Dundee Township his entire life. Having a passion for travel, history and photography, Phil has been able to combine these three passions and has to date, written and published fifteen historical/photographic books.

A locally renowned, as well as nationally renowned author, his titles include comprehensive studies delving into the history of the Dundee Township area as well as other localities including Galena, Illinois, Chicago, Illinois, and four titles on Colorado, including, Durango, Silverton, Ouray and St. Elmo, the most well-preserved ghost town in Colorado.

His premium edition book on Meadowdale Raceways is the only book ever written on this famous historic racetrack. This book has sold all over the world, including Europe, Australia as well as Alaska.

Phil has always been an avid researcher that has documented projects on various subjects. Topics range from religion to ancient history with a prominence in local history. Phil tells almost forgotten stories of some of the most intriguing landmarks, buildings, and people.
